An New Taft School Nurse with an Important Message!
Welcome Nurse McKayla McCrohan - Full-Time School Nurse at Taft!
We are very excited to announce that Nurse McKayla McCrohan is joining us as our full-time School Nurse at Taft! Previously serving as the District Float Nurse, Nurse McKayla is now dedicating herself fully to supporting the health and wellbeing of our Taft students. For those who haven't met her yet, check out her informational flyer below.
Important Message from Nurse McKayla:
I hope everyone has had a great summer vacation! If you anticipate that your child will be taking medication for the upcoming school year, please print out the required documents and present them to the nurse with the medication. This includes an active/current doctor's order for the medication, a signed physician's authorization form, and a signed parent authorization form. These documents are attached to this Parent Square for your conveinence.
As a reminder, medications including epi-pens and inhalers are not allowed to travel with students to school in their backpacks and must be dropped off by parents or guardians.
Medication Drop-Off Times:
- Thursday, August 27th: 11:30 AM - 2:40 PM
- Friday, August 28th: 8:00 AM - 2:40 PM
